Chuala is a progressive, genre-bending singer songwriter and producer based in Berlin, Germany. Chuala has been featured on a plethora of platforms and publications such as Vogue, i-D, Colors, Numeró, Noctis print issue, Crack and Notion magazine. Additionally she me has been featured in national newspapers such as Berliner Zeitung, Spiegel magazine and UK based radio.

Born to a German mother and Cameroonian father Chuala’s passion for music started at an early age, when she wrote her first song at just 8 years old. Initially discovered by Atlantic records NYC when she was 14, she has been penning a variety of songs for a plethora of international artists as a writer for UMP (Universal Music Publishing) Germany, composing a unique and diverse fusion of electronic r&b with the backdrop of her dynamic home city, Berlin. Chuala has a steady and growing fanbase with over 116 k monthly listeners on Spotify and over a million streams.

Chuala presents her artistry as a social commentary on capitalism; how this affects our daily lives and environmental awareness. Chuala opens a space for celebration as well as vulnerability, advocating for empowerment within the sexual status of women and liberation from patriarchal codes. Chuala has worked with the likes of Rudimental, Big Narstie and brands such as Sneakerstuff and Amorelie. Working with a variety cutting-edge Berlin and London based producers, musicians and designers, chuala attracts global audiences with an international sound and striking aesthetic, particularly in her visual compositions.
